BCS opens Austrian office

BCS, (Business Critical Solutions) the specialist services provider to the digital infrastructure industry, has opened an office in the central area of Vienna, Austria as it continues to build on its presence in the region.

Having been involved in local projects for many years, with a local team on the ground for over two years, this move will enable BCS to continue to support its growing number of clients who already have facilities in the region and are currently developing others. It will also facilitate its work with other organisations that are currently prospecting or going through due diligence.

Alex Mariage has been appointed as Regional Head of Services - DACH / Nordics (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and will be responsible for the local team alongside Thomas Reifmesser, who takes the role of Senior Consultant and Triin Palm who is appointed as Consultant.

Alex Mariage said: “BCS has a long history of involvement in Austrian data centre projects, with a permanent local presence for the last two years. We strongly believe in the Austrian market - there is an incredible talent pool here and some real potential to utilise clean energy. We are delighted to continue to contribute to the development and best interests of the local market.”
