Keysource to deliver global critical infrastructure projects for insurer

Critical environment specialist Keysource has been appointed to deliver a range of IT infrastructure projects around the world for a major insurance provider.

Keysource will provide critical services to data centres in Finland, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway and Spain, as well as to locations in Asia and Africa as part of the contract. These will include helpdesk support and performance information for M&E systems as the client embarks on a series of office expansions and relocations.

The contract expansion follows a three-year relationship between the firms, and Keysource’s service is designed to reduce risk and minimise time to recovery. Incidents are logged and managed by Keysource including escalation to local teams, contractors and management.

Chris West, Head of Global Accounts at Keysource, said: “The insurance industry is increasingly subject to extensive regulation, an evolving threat landscape and the challenge of operating at maximum efficiency. Our consultancy and project delivery expertise will allow the business to navigate these challenges as it transforms its critical infrastructure through tools, such as virtualisation and adopts new ways of working without compromising on security or quality.

“We look forward to our continued collaboration as we support their ongoing digital transformation.”

The win expands on Keysource’s three-year relationship with the client, which has seen it deliver design and professional services, project support, infrastructure upgrades, expert witnessing, and managing business critical IT infrastructure.
