NTT DATA defines new leadership structure

NTT DATA has introduced a new leadership structure to accelerate the unification of the three NTT DATA Group companies operating in the EMEA and Latin America region: NTT DATA EMEA, itelligence and everis.

Benito V?zquez, the current CEO of everis, has been appointed deputy head of NTT DATA’s EMEA and Latin America region, effective immediately. In addition to accelerating the unification process, this role will provide clarity in the leadership structure and drive accountability for growth and optimization across the region. V?zquez will report directly to Koji Ito, senior vice president and head of NTT DATA’s EMEA and Latin America region.
 
NTT DATA also announced the following leadership changes which will be effective April 1, 2018.

Patrizio Mapelli, the current CEO of the NTT DATA Group company NTT DATA EMEA, will retire, and will have no operational responsibilities. He will assume the role of senior advisor, as well as chairman of NTT DATA Italia . Benito V?zquez will assume the responsibilities as CEO of NTT DATA EMEA.
 
Eduardo Serra will be named president of everis, taking over the role from Fernando Franc?s who will be retiring from everis. Fritz Hoderlein, who is currently responsible for the everis business across EMEA, will assume the role of CEO of everis, previously held by V?zquez. V?zquez will continue to serve on the everis board of directors.
 
Norbert Rotter, will continue in his current role as CEO of itelligence and NTT DATA Business Solutions group.
 
Benito V?zquez has been the CEO of everis since 2004. When NTT DATA Corporation acquired everis in 2014, V?zquez continued to lead everis, growing the Spanish-headquartered IT service provider into a respected and trusted partner across the EMEA and Latin America region. Prior to everis, V?zquez held numerous corporate leadership positions at a number of companies
