Tieto digitalises V?rmd? municipality's document and case management

V?rmd? municipality selects Tieto's cloud-based solution as its new municipal-wide document and case management. The system enables a more efficient way of working and improved service to citizens, where Tieto has overall responsibility for all parts of the solution. The contract period extends over four years, with the possibility of renewal for another three years.

The solution is based on Tieto's leading and standardized public sector solution, Public 360 ° Online, which includes all core processes such as billing, domain management and plan management. V?rmd? municipality's ambition is to further develop the solution during the contract period to meet other needs for user support within the various administrations.

It is a prerequisite to have effective document and case management that facilitates new work methods and standardized processes. A central part of our procurement of IT, is that the implementation takes place in close cooperation with the supplier, so that we receive ongoing assistance to further develop the system as the business needs change, "says Annica Lempke, Manager of Legal and Democratic Services Department at V?rmd? Municipality. 
Tieto’s cloud-based overall solution is delivered as an automated service through Microsoft Azure, including operations, continuous updates, support, external publishing and integration. It provides employees in the administrations with a modern and easy-to-use system that facilitates the daily work and everyday life of the municipality's approximately 3,200 employees and more than 43,000 inhabitants.
