Ensono has launched its proprietary hybrid IT management platform, Ensono M.O. The software-enabled service management platform is a tight integration of people, process and technology. It was previously available in the U.K., and will now also service Ensono’s clients throughout North America.

Ensono M.O. facilitates true hybrid IT between different applications and infrastructure platforms, including mainframe, midrange, AWS, Azure and Ensono Cloud. The unique combination of technologies exceeds the capabilities of most IT service management platforms by coupling best practices with comprehensive data about clients and their environments to provide a fully integrated interface for operations personnel. Features like auto-discovery of configuration, event correlation of previous tickets against incidents, as well as access control, audit logging and comprehensive knowledge integration enhances the clients’ overall support experience and drives high availability.

Working with Ensono M.O., clients can fine tune response scenarios for application infrastructure to meet specific business needs, such as critical processing windows or seasonal events. To meet client audit requirements, Ensono M.O. can easily provide a comprehensive log of system access by name, role and associated support ticket to ensure the overall integrity of the managed environment.

“Hybrid IT is a reality for enterprise companies as they balance the need to maintain business critical legacy systems with new modern applications and architectures to compete in today’s rapidly evolving markets,” said Tim Beerman, Ensono’s chief technology officer. “Ensono’s full suite of managed services from mainframe through public cloud, coupled with the power and flexibility of Ensono M.O., allow us to meet clients wherever they are today in their digital transformation journeys.  M.O.'s global availability is an important step forward, enabling us to provide exceptional service and adapt to the changing needs of our clients.”

Ensono serves a wide range of clients across industries throughout North America and Europe. While providing a global support model is ideal for most clients, it is also necessary to provide localized support when required by client security or regulatory requirements. Ensono M.O. is designed to provide this flexibility while maintaining operational controls required to meet compliance requirements such as the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

“Ensono M.O. is essential for providing our clients with additional support during business-critical periods,” said Neil Forster, VP of global platform engineering at Ensono. “Our proactive approach to system resolution allows our clients stay up-and-running so they can focus on other areas of the business while we handle IT management.”
