Virtual Instruments appoints Lisa Alger Senior Vice President of Engineering

Industry veteran joins company to help customers accelerate hybrid IT data centre transformation.

Lisa Alger has joined the Virtual Instruments as senior vice president of Engineering. A technology visionary with more than 25 years of experience, Alger will oversee product development and customer support for the company, supporting ongoing growth and expansion. 
 
Lisa has a track record of technical, product and business leadership, with experience managing multi-country engineering and IT operations across three continents. She was previously senior director of Open Source Networking at Brocade, where she led the OpenStack and Open Daylight SDN teams. Alger was also vice president of Product Engineering at Vyatta, Inc., and senior director of NAS Engineering at NetApp, Inc.
