FalconStor’s FreeStor wins Data Centre ICT Management Product of the Year Award

FalconStor Software's FreeStor®, its converged, hardware-agnostic and data services platform has won Data Centre ICT Management Product of the Year 2016 at the DCS Awards UK. FreeStor was also a runner-up in the Data Centre Software Defined Storage Product of the Year category. The awards were presented on May 12th at the Grange St Paul’s Hotel in London and were judged by industry peers and a public vote on the DCS Awards site.  
 
The DCS Awards criteria for recognition were products that have: key distinguishing features, a tangible impact on the market and customers, as well as major differentiators compared to primary competitors.
 
FalconStor has now won nine product awards in the past 11 months and has been recognised by several respected industry publications and groups. Those awards include Storage Product of the Year by Network Computing, Virtualisation/Software-Defined Storage Product of the Year and runner up for Company of the Year at the SVC awards.
