Cordero has more than 20 years of experience building and growing channel operations for leading organisations. He joins Tegile from StorSimple where he served as vice president of worldwide channel and strategic sales. He has also held executive sales and channel management positions at Storwize, Data Domain, McDATA, VA Linux Systems and NetScreen Technologies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Northern Arizona University.

“The combination of a compelling portfolio of hybrid and all-flash arrays, combined with a leadership team that understands the importance of helping customers overcome their data management challenges, makes Tegile a place that I’m eager to be a part of,” said Cordero. “Tegile’s recently announced enterprise-class arrays perfectly balance performance, capacity and reliability at an affordable price point, making them an attractive option for organisations of any size, across many industries. I look forward to ensuring that these arrays are readily accessible to companies that are looking to leverage these attributes throughout the world.”

“Bill has demonstrated his ability to successfully create and manage the expansion of channel programs for several leading storage companies, and we look to leverage that expertise to further the global market penetration of our flash-driven enterprise storage arrays,” said Rohit Kshetrapal, CEO of Tegile. “We remain dedicated to our reseller-centric sales approach and recognise that the growth of our partner eco-system is the best and only way to expand the reach of our products to customers worldwide. Bill will be an instrumental part of ensuring we meet that goal.”

Tegile arrays are sold exclusively through the company’s reseller channel to provide customers with best-in-class products and services to meet their IT infrastructure needs. Tegile provides dedicated sales and technical resources to resellers to help close new business. Its unique architecture offers the unparalleled functionality, flexibility and ease of use needed to cut storage expenditures in half, triple performance and easily manage storage without adding staff. Customers have the option to purchase units outright, lease them or go with a capacity-utilisation model through Tegile’s Agility Pricing Program.
