Philip Hu, managing director of Uptime Institute in North Asia, remarked: "I am confident that our cooperation with Huawei will be a pleasant one. Huawei’s rich experience in the DC sector will help promote Uptime Institute's influence and leading status while increasing recognition of tier certification within the industry."
"Huawei is honored to work with Uptime Institute again. Together, we will promote and popularize the application of DC tier certification in the industry," said Zhang Shoujie, general manager of Huawei’s DC Integration Domain. "We will continue to collaborate with industry-leading companies to share Huawei's experience in DC consultancy, design, integration implementation, and O&M. Huawei will work with Uptime Institute’s Tier Standards to build high-quality and high-reliability DCs and to promote the application of Uptime Institute’s tier certification."

With the development of DC services globally, an increasing number of enterprises and users will migrate their IT services to carrier DCs for trusteeship. This creates high demand for DC reliability, especially for financial businesses. Obtaining high-reliability certificates will bring more business opportunities for DC carriers. Uptime Institute’s tier Certification is an important standard for DC reliability in the industry and is highly recognized across the globe.

Huawei has powerful integration delivery capabilities, as well as many accredited tier designer certification experts and senior DC designers. Huawei has providing DC integration solutions since 2004 and, as of September 2013, helped build more than 330 DCs for global customers. In 2012, Huawei began cooperating with Uptime Institute to support carrier customers in qualifying for DC reliability Tier certifications, and was one of the 15 founding members of the Uptime Institute Network Asia Pacific.
