X-IO has signed up specialist IT systems solutions provider Aegis to sell its Intelligent Storage Element (ISE) systems across the UK. With OPEX demands becoming a top concern for CIOs, this agreement means Aegis can integrate high performance, cost effective storage solutions into its business solution stacks enabling lower operational costs for the mid-market space.
Established in 2004, Aegis IT has rapidly become one of the leading providers of technology solutions in the North of England. As a consultative system integrator, it prides itself on the credibility it has built in the market and its team of experts has worked with organisations including Sage, G4S, Turner Broadcasting and nPower, amongst others. Aegis are 100% customer focused and pride themselves on understanding and interpreting individual customers needs, and supplying the appropriate sub-systems for those needs, based on value for money, acceptable levels of risk and technical capabilities.
Dave McPherson, Technical Director, Aegis: “We believe that our customers shouldn’t be spending money they don’t have on solutions they don’t need. Instead, we spend time evaluating our clients OPEX challenges and then help them to choose and build the right IT infrastructure. The decision requires a careful balance of cost against risk to achieve appropriate service levels and performance. For us it’s about advising and supporting our customers to help them deliver more value from their technology investments to allow competitive advantage.”
McPherson also added: “After spending a week with X-IO at its Colorado HQ, we have been educated on the benefits that X-IO’s solutions offer, in terms of getting the best out of HDDs and exploiting the benefits of SSD technology. The customer requirement for reliable and ‘zero touch’ systems is met by X-IO’s five year warranty and the solutions deliver solid value and clear benefits which we look forward to sharing with our customers.”
Roger Walton, VP EMEA, X-IO: “Aegis is a high class systems integrator. The company takes its time to carefully evaluate each customers’ needs and then building exactly the right solution. To have Aegis on board is a significant channel boost for X-IO and we look forward to working together.”
