New to the data centre market, Enlogic was up against stiff competition from Schneider Electric, ServerTech and Emerson with its intelligent PDU, before coming second only to Excool, which won the award judged by industry peers through a public independent vote.
Paul Inett, vice-president, Enlogic EMEA commented on the achievement, “We are thrilled to both come runner up for the Datacentre Power and Cooling Product of the Year and to be recognised by top industry experts. This is testament to our hard work, research and development into improving data centre energy management across the globe.”
The success recognises Enlogic as a leading innovator in the datacentre industry, providing the critical component in the fight against data centre energy waste through its intelligent range of energy metering Power Distribution Units (PDUs). The team is armed with invaluable experience from extensive careers at ABB, APC, Emerson Network, Schneider Electric, the US Department of Energy and more.
Franziska Priebe, Marketing Manager of award organisers’ Angel Business Communications, says “This year we have had not only a significant increase in the overall number of nominations but also in the total votes received. The DCS Awards recognise the users, manufacturers and suppliers operating in the datacentre fields and are voted for by the readers of our wide range of print and online publications. All finalists did well in making the shortlist and it was tough competition so congratulations to Enlogic on bagging the first Runner Up title in “Datacentre Power and Cooling of the Year.”
The Data Centre Solutions Awards reward the products, projects and services as well as honour companies and teams operating in data centre fields.
