The DCS Awards are designed to recognise the products, projects and services as well as honour companies and teams operating in data centre arena. The awards reflect the achievements of end-users, channel partners, hosting companies and vendors alike and the range of categories provided many options for organisations involved in the IT industry to participate. At the end of March a judging panel from Angel Business Communications validated all the entries and have announced those that have been forwarded for the online voting. After reviewing the record number of entries the judges have increased the number of categories in the 2013 awards to 19 categories across three main groups. The technology awards were open to products and solutions that have been available since 1st September 2012 while the end-user projects entered must have been implemented between 1st January and 31st December 2012.

For the end-user awards, prizes will be made to the end-user themselves and either the nominating vendor or supplier instrumental in delivering the project. The winners will be announced at a gala evening event on the 23rd May at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in central London.
